What experienced buyers put in the RFQ and check on arrival. * For extrusions, share the profile drawing early, because die cost and lead time depend on section complexity. * State alloy and temper (e.g. 6063-T5, 6061-T6) and the coating specification. * For cables, confirm conductor class, insulation material and the standard you need (IEC, UL or BS) before sampling. Silvassa–Daman, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Chennai and the Angul–Jharsuguda aluminium belt all have extrusion presses. Many suppliers also anodise, powder coat and fabricate. ### How much does an extrusion die cost? Die cost depends on profile size and complexity: simple solid dies are modest, while large hollow dies cost more. Many suppliers offset die cost against volume. ### Can I get UL- or CE-compliant cables from India? Yes. Many cable makers hold UL listings or test to IEC and EN standards.
