Only if the operation is certified by a USDA-accredited certifying agent under the National Organic Program. The US–India recognition agreement ended in 2021, so NPOP certification alone is not enough, and each US shipment needs an NOP Import Certificate. ### What certificates should an organic coconut supplier show? An NPOP scope certificate from an APEDA-accredited body, a USDA or EU organic certificate for your market, a transaction certificate for each shipment, an FSSAI licence and recent reports from an NABL-accredited laboratory. ### Where is coconut processed in India? Pollachi and the wider Coimbatore belt in Tamil Nadu are known for desiccated coconut and coconut oil, and Kerala processors around Kochi and Kollam make oil, milk and other coconut products.
