Laser cutting needs no tooling and suits low to medium volumes. Stamping needs a die but gives the lowest piece price at high volumes.
Can Indian fabricators make IP-rated enclosures?
Yes. Fabricators around Faridabad, Pune and Bengaluru make electrical and electronic enclosures with gaskets and sealed welds. Ask for IP test evidence on your design.
Which finishes are common?
Powder coating, zinc plating, hot-dip galvanising, and brushed or passivated stainless steel are all widely available.
