- Landed cost Landed cost is everything you pay to get a product to your warehouse: the factory price plus freight, insurance, import duty, customs fees and local charges. Open tool →
- Should-cost Should-cost is the price a well-run factory could reasonably charge for a part, built up from material, machine time, tooling, finishing, packaging, overhead and a fair margin. Open tool →
- Teardown cost A teardown cost estimate rebuilds a finished product's price from its parts, assembly labour, packaging, overhead and supplier margin. Open tool →
- Make or buy A make-or-buy decision compares the total cost of producing a part in-house, including upfront investment and fixed running costs, with the landed cost of buying it from a supplier. Open tool →
- Quote compare Comparing supplier quotes fairly means converting each one to the same basis, landed cost per unit at your door, because EXW, FOB, CIF and DDP prices include different costs. Open tool →
- MOQ vs price The best order quantity under price breaks is the one with the lowest total annual cost: purchase price plus the cost of holding stock plus the cost of placing orders. Open tool →

- Container loader A container load plan shows how many cartons fit on each pallet and in each container, and whether space or weight runs out first. Open tool →
- CBM calculator CBM (cubic metres) is the volume of a shipment: length × width × height of each carton, times the number of cartons, in metres. Open tool →

- AQL sampling An AQL sampling plan tells an inspector how many units to pull from a lot and how many defects of each class the lot can contain and still be accepted. Open tool →
- Test advisor Product testing checks that goods from a factory meet your specification and the rules of your market, from alloy grade and colour fastness to electrical safety and restricted substances. Open tool →
- Cpk calculator Cpk, the process capability index, shows how comfortably a process fits inside its tolerance: it is the distance from the mean to the nearest specification limit divided by three standard deviations. Open tool →
- Drop test planner A drop test checks that a packed product survives the knocks of handling, and ISTA 1A sets the drop height by packed weight: 76 cm for packs under 9.5 kg, down to 31 cm for 27.7 to 45.4 kg. Open tool →

- CBAM estimator The EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) puts a carbon price on imports of iron and steel, aluminium, cement, fertilisers, hydrogen and electricity, paid by surrendering CBAM certificates for the emissions embedded in the goods. Open tool →
- EUDR checker The EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR, Regulation (EU) 2023/1115) requires that cattle, cocoa, coffee, oil palm, rubber, soya and wood products placed on or exported from the EU market are deforestation-free, legally produced and covered by a due diligence statement. Open tool →

- EOQ Economic order quantity (EOQ) is the order size that minimises the combined yearly cost of placing orders and holding stock. Open tool →
- Reorder point The reorder point (ROP) is the stock level at which you place the next order so it arrives before you run out: average daily demand × lead time + safety stock. Open tool →
- Safety stock Safety stock is the extra stock held to cover swings in demand and in supplier lead time. Open tool →
- Inventory turnover Inventory turnover is how many times you sell through your average stock in a period: cost of goods sold divided by average inventory. Open tool →

- RFQ builder A request for quotation (RFQ) is the document a buyer sends to suppliers to get comparable prices for the same specification, quantities and terms. Open tool →
- PO generator A purchase order (PO) is the buyer's formal, signed order to a supplier, stating the goods, quantities, prices, delivery and payment terms and the conditions both sides accept. Open tool →
- Supplier health check A supplier health check is a structured screen of a new factory's identity, capability and working style before you order samples or tooling. Open tool →
- Second-source planner A second source is a qualified backup supplier, often in another country, that can take over part or all of your volume if your main supplier is disrupted. Open tool →
